Reaped at the age of 14, Sylvia Mason is one everybody in the Capitol expects to be killed right off at the beginning of the Games. Appearing as a weakling to the crowd and to the other tributes, nobody has high expectations about her. So how was it then that she ended up winning the 66th Hunger Games? This is the story about the girl that became adamant, she who developed an outer skin thicker than most. John and Sylvia experience the beginning phases of a rebellion in their District and as they are both Victors, the ones the people look up after the 74th Hunger Games, more responsibility is laid upon them. But the twist in the 3rd Quarter Quell will send them back to the Arena with other Victors, including the two victors that started the movement. Asked to take part of a dangerous plan, it's no longer about winning the Games. It's about saving the revolution about to take place - no matter the cost.
