I highly recommend reading Down in the Darkness first, as it details who Vanessa and Corbin are, and how they came to be hunters. DitD had a cameo of John Winchester. LaD will include multiple Supernatural characters and begins in season 2. I haven't decided how long it will go for, I've written a lot of little scenes as I've thought of them and would love to keep it going as long as I can. I started writing this because after I wrote DitD I thought that it would make a great prequel for a Supernatural guest character. Then I decided to re-write some episodes to include Vanessa and the rest just kind of fell into place. It will be spotty, things will be changed and I don't have time for nay-sayers. It's a fan fiction, anything can happen. *The only character I own is Vanessa, and whichever character from DitD I may choose to also bring into the Supernatural Universe.
