ALANA MOORE was sixteen years old and had everything her unlimited credit cards could buy, as well as a spoiled attitude to match. She was a no-good bitch who didn't give a shit about anyone except for herself and how many purses she had in her closet. She didn't think any of her actions could have any type of consequences, so she went on being, well... herself. To put it frankly; Alana - or rather Lana as she had people call her- Moore was a spoiled bitch, point blank. But after she pulled another thoughtless prank, landing her in trouble with her father and his associates, karma finally caught up to her. Although she called his bluff, her father decided to send her off to her grandparents in the Outer Banks where he grew up. He claimed it would straighten her out as it did him. Plus, he enrolled her in a summer ladies etiquette class, so there was that. And there was nothing Lana Moore could do about it other than let it happen. And while she could give him hell as he driver her to her grandparents house in the part of the island called Figure Eight, she didn't put up too much of a fight. There wasn't anything she could do about it other than pout and whine. However, the Outer Banks and it's sticky weather with it's stupid sand and salty water was the least of her worries. Because just around the corner we're these four teenagers that called themselves Pogues and she somehow managed to get dragged along in their stupid treasure hunt for... gold? She supposed that made her some kind of wild child, but whatever! Tough luck, she guessed.
