During a shift at Black Lion Vinyls, Oliver Shelby meets Chizuru Mizuhara, a rental girlfriend. As the two begin to learn more about each other beyond their dead-end jobs, they begin to form an unlikely relationship that sees them stepping out of their comfort zones---as Oliver is fresh off a breakup with a cosplayer, while Chizuru has never genuinely fallen in love ever since starting her job.
