Gilan has been apprenticed to the famous Halt O'Carrick for two years now. He's excelled in every aspect of his training, especially in unseen and silent movement. Becoming a Ranger is all Gilan has ever wanted for the majority of his life. Of course, he still trains under MacNeil in Carraway Fief. But as Gilan leaves for what he thinks is another uneventful journey to study under the swordsman, he finds himself crossing paths with a nasty enemy. One of Morgarath's most trusted allies has managed to escape the hands of the Ranger Corps for two years, a problem that is so concerning, King Duncan has threatened to reevaluate the Corps members if this man goes unchecked. And Gilan finds himself in the heart of the enemy's camp. Will Gilan escape to tell Halt? If he does, can the two of them, along with a few others from the Corps, track down this enemy and finally capture him? What's more, will this ally lead them to Morgarath and give them the chance to stop this warlord once and for all?

Will and Evalyn are kidnapped to Skandia, where they are separated and sold as slaves. However, this story is a bit different. Erak is already an Oberjarl and has recently established new laws to improve the lives of slaves. Despite this, the village Will ends up in doesn't seem to follow those laws. Will he survive until help arrives? Will help arrive at all? In the kingdom of Araluen, things are also not quite the same as we know them. Based on the 3rd and 4th books by John Flanagan, this is a completely reimagined story. Because why not? I don't own any rights to John Flanagan's novels, nor do I make any profit from them. I simply give free rein to my imagination and write whatever comes to mind, inspired by his works. You'll meet familiar characters from the books here, as well as some I've invented. The same goes for places. As mentioned, the action is set during the events of books 3 and 4 - but with a completely different twist. Enjoy reading. I hope you'll like it :-)

Heather, the younger twin sister of princess Cassandra, is a rebel. She hates neat things and she hates the lessons about being a good girl. Then she meets the ranger Crowley. Her eyes are opened when she joins the rangers corps as his apprientice. !almost all of the characters aren't mine, there from John Flanagan! Based on John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice books Still Fan made though Spoiler Alert do not read if you haven't read book 12 A year after Maddie's apprenticeship and reception of the Bronze Oak leaf. She along with her mentor Will Treaty investigates the murder of the Gallican King Jacques accompanied by a trained from Norgate fief, but Gallica is a broken country and mere shell of what it used to be and Will and Maddie soon discover a murder case can soon turn into a race for survival. The answer lies down under.

Will Treaty's training had been going well. Halt hadn't made too many sarcastic comments, they had stopped a group of bandits the previous week, and he was learning and improving quickly. One day, Will spots a girl in the village, but she seems....different. Determined to figure out more about her, Will searches for answers but that causes more trouble with Halt, his training, and much more. *I only created the mystery girl, all others belong to John Flanagan, the author of RA.*

When a Ranger suddenly disappears, Will is sent to investigate. The situation soon becomes a race against time in order to save more lives than one.

When two Rangers mysteriously go missing it's up to Halt and Will to find them. However things don't go as planned and soon they find themselves trapped in the clutches of a past enemy, the Genovesans. While imprisoned they learn that the assassins are in league with the Temujai who plan on invading Araluen. Will they be able to escape... or is this the end? Who knows where Will is? Will has been missing for a few days already and has made no contact with anybody. Halt set out to find him but ehag he finds almost breaks him. Will he let his dicoveries crush him and everything he holds dear or will he rise up to the challenge and face it head on?

Disclaimer: The first parts of this story are not up to par with my later writing and are a little "rough". The reason I have decided against editing them is quite simple, it is a reminder of where I began. So feel free to cringe at those parts, and I hope you enjoy the latter ones. After a failed mission Lydia gets poisoned. With time running out, the crew sets off to find a cure, but will they be in time to save Lydia? Meanwhile, the poison brings back old memories from Lydia as a little girl, her parents and grandparents. Will the Herons find out more about her past? And who did this to Lydia? Could it be someone they know, or is it someone the Herons have never met before? I do not own the Brotherband characters. My own characters and the storyline do belong to me.
