John's battle with depression after Charlie dies. "I don't understand," he whispered to himself, "why did it have to be her, why is life so cruel?" - POST FOURTH CLOSET - This is in my AU, we don't actually know what happens to him so consider this canon if you would like. It is sad and contains alcohol abuse and mild drug use. Not suitable for younger readers.

After John gets a dream about Charlie, Carlton and John come back to Hurricane, willing to find answers to why Charlie is coming to him. John just can't seem to shake off Charlie and all the trauma that has happened to all his friends in Hurricane. A sequel to my John x Arty fanfic! It is STRONGLY recommended that you read that first.
