He does know that his older cousin is a wizard. But when he got his letter, he was ecstatic.

Alexander Hamilton didn't know what he was doing when he came to America. All he knew was he had to do something great, for himself, the people who fought for him and his mother. Coming in thinking he'd be alone as always, he was surprised to make close friends, and meet someone who would change his life forever, while learning that he changes the lives of more people than he understands, in more than one way. And the other is a foreign, adopted, brainiac who keeps to himself and doesn't like people. But on the inside, the two are much more similar than most would think.

I only own the cover art for this piece, the characters were actual people, and Hamilton is owned by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
