16 year old Jade Taylor is always bullied in and out of school everyday. She's never met her Mom but her Dad says she died during childbirth, but Jade knows that isn't true. Alcohol consumed her Dad and he became abusive of it. Because of the abuse and bullying, Jade started self harming and become suicidal. She unfortunately suffers from depression, social anxiety, anorexia, and Bulimia. Technically, John met her first. And then Karkat did. And then Dave did, but about a month or so after. He couldn't help but feel a little bit out of the loop- after all, he was missing out on a good opportunity to make a new friend. Well, at least that's what he told himself. After he started to notice everything about her- her laugh, her smile, what she orders from Starbucks- he knew in the back of his mind that that lie simply wasn't going to work anymore.
