The rise of Alt-Rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen brings with it recognition, fame, and compromise. Lead singer and founding member Van McCann has learned to balance all three of these over the course of the band's ride to fame, but there's one thing he's never gotten used to; loneliness. During a tour of the states and the writing and recording process of the band's fourth studio album, Van finds himself caught in a situation involving the girl he could never have, and her addiction to the toxic things in her life.

Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness. - So what happens when you have to write an essay about it and yet there's not much happiness to write about?

Van McCann was your average British burnout teenager. Barely graduated, could drink his weight at the pub, enjoyed cigarettes as well as smoking a few other substances. But he had ambitions, he always dreamed of his band traveling the world and selling out concerts one day, but that's a hard thing to start when you've got no money. When all the members agree to pick up side jobs Van must think a little outside the box and if babysitting for the brats down the street was the only way, so be it. However when their older sister Emily comes back from university, he might have a new incentive to stay.

Hazel is working in the life she's comfortable with in the solitude of New York, where art is all she has. One day, she's met with a hurricane of mystery, humor and spontaneity named Van Mccan, a musician that captivates Hazel is is captivated by Hazel. Together, along with fellow band members Johnny, Benji, Bob and Larry, they'll travel across the world and learn things about them selves and the planet they live in.

This will initially be a catfish and the Bottlemen fic but will probably include a few other bands and that within. I haven't really figured out where this is gonna go bit hey ho im gonna give it a try. All of the characters featured ae not the same age as they may be in real life. I have purely done this so it fits in with where I want this fic to go. This book will be set in 2016.

When Emily is stuck in an abusive relationship, meeting one boy changes everything for her... This is my first story that I've started writing, I have a plan for it but will try to write it as much as possible. "You know it's about you reet?" he grinned awkwardly. It was cold outside our work, he looked cold with only his black tshirt on, scratching the back of his neck, dimple popped with his self concious smile. "What is?" I asked, not playing at dumb the way he smirked and said he knew I was. "The song love," he said, smile fading as he looked me in the eyes. I couldn't hold his gaze for long and he couldn't really hold mine. The two of us glancing down at our shoes in sync, more alike than we realised.

🌼🌼 "Bondys lost his sister?" I looked back at the lads blankly, they looked back at me blankly. "Sister?" Said Larry emerging from the garage with a bottle of vodka and a water gun. "Yeah..." said Bondy looking round at us as if we were all mad, his bleary eyes blinking as he struggled to stay tuned to reality, "yeah Eponine my little sister..." he looked at me as if I ought to understand but all I could do was shake my head slowly. "Mate you've never mentioned a sister before..." I started slowly, "are you... sure you've got one?" I smirked unsure myself whether or not that was a ridiculous question. "Van?!" He gasped almost choking on his beer. 🌼🌼 When they meet at a party in 2013 they meet in a blur of tears, spilled drinks and broken hearts. Their lives always seem to overlap at the worst possible moments for Eponine Bond.
