Of course, guys couldn't show that they were checking Soda out, and they couldn't make advances, because let's be real, it's 1966. Still, those guys would check him out. No doubt about it. One thing, though, Soda usually turned down all the advances. Now, you may be asking: Why would an attractive guy turn down attractive girls? Wouldn't he want to get over his ex-girlfriend, Sandy? The thing is, Sodapop Curtis has a secret. A secret crush. And you may be wondering, who's the lucky person? Who does the most attractive guy in Tulsa want to give his heart to? The sad news, however, is that Soda could never give his heart to his crush. Why? 1. His crush would never like him back 2. His crush is a he 3.
