"Friends. That word was not sufficient. There was no word that was." Dallas Winston is frozen. Frozen so that he feels nothing, a self-inflicted glacier firmly in place between his head and heart. Being a greaser and a hoodlum has trained him to be cold since the first time he was arrested at ten. But for the first time in years, something is starting to thaw. Thanks to the fire boy known as Johnny Cade. It's confusing and wrong and absolutely terrifying. Dallas knows this story will never have a happy ending, but he's suicidal enough to play along. (Obviously contains HEAVILY IMPLIED Johnny x Dally. It's not the entire story, but, I mean. Come on.) (I actually turned an incomplete version of this fanfic to my Language Arts teacher). [[ONESHOT]] He remembered the faces of boys he might have known. There was a young looking boy with greenish eyes and tuff hair that could pass as brown or red. His name was on the tip of Johnny's tongue but he just couldn't place it. He remembered other bits and pieces of people, too; a real handsome guy with similar hair to the first boy, and there was another who had a strong build and a tired look. A smiling boy with sideburns, and a tall one with swirling hair. And there was also Dally. Or, Johnny finds himself in a heaven-esque place, and all he remembers from his life is Dallas Winston.

I started reading this book 2 weeks or more (In February 2020) And Fell in love with the story and thought what if Johnny X Dally were a thing and I joined this app and thought yeah their a thing!! So now I'm ready to start writing about them!

Aversion to happiness, also called the cherophobia or fear of happiness, is an attitude toward happiness in which individuals may deliberately avoid experiences that invoke positive emotions or happiness because of the fear that something tragic will happen. Johnny and Dallas have been together for two years now (Started dating when they were 14 and 15) and they know everything about each other. Or do they? Dallas has been keeping a secret from Johnny and it's not what you expect.

There is not enough Jally fanfics out there so I decided to make my own. Dally thought he wass incapble of emotion. That was of course before Pony brought that knew kid to the gang. Now he was feeling one emotion stronger than he thought possible. All the characters of cource belong to S.E. Hinton
