Tate Callahan has known Lorna and John for as long as she can remember. They're her family and she's theirs. It all started when she met Lorna. Tate, being diagnosed as a psychotic, for assault of a federal officer was put into Lakeview mental hospital as an alternative to prison. The two girls having similar powers, Lorna being able to control metal, and Tate being able to control anything with matter, they instantly hit it off. According to some expert who's able to trace origins, Tate is related to the scarlet witch. How? She doesn't know. Two years later, She and Lorna are inseparable, it's almost as if they're sisters. Tate thought she'd never be rid of that nut house, until one day some woman named Evangeline comes in offering her and Lorna a ticket out. There was a catch though...there's always a catch. The two were to lead a network that the X-men left behind. And that's when they met John. He was assigned third leader of what is now known as the mutant underground. John's a tracker, has superhuman strength, super cute. Four years later and the Mutant Underground has grown tremendously.
