I had to read Of Mice and Men for school and stuff and tbh Lennie and George should've dated. So if you haven't read OMM (Of Mice and Men) this probably won't make much sense. If you are or are planning to but haven't finished yet, the ending will be spoiled in this story so don't say I didn't warn you. ! I do not own any of the characters/main plot. All credit for characters and plot/parts of story goes to John Steinbeck. !

I wrote the next chapter of Of Mice and Men for English class and decided I would upload it on here. The story was written trying to best match the style of Steinbeck's work so it uses the dialect in dialogue. I realize that the dialect contains grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors, so there is no need to point those out. Otherwise constructive criticism is welcome. -Disclaimer- The novella Of Mice and Men was written by John Steinbeck. When the greed takes over can you keep the animal in check?

We all know the tragic tale of George and Lenny. But we forget that there are more story's to be unlocked, you just have to look closer. What ever made Curlys Wife so bitter? Was she always like that, or did she have a dream to be more? This was an English assignment I did in 2017 of my interpretation of her character, and how she became that. I've been so in love with Of Mice And Men recently. This is my first OMAM fic, and it's pretty much the same other than the fact that I'm rewriting the ending to give them their dream!! The cover image can be found on any browser or on Pinterest, it's from the OMAM movie! It is NOT my image, obviously.

I do not own Of Mice and Men it's just a poem I made that I wanted to share. The original story was made in 1937 by John Steinbeck, you can also find the movie off YouTube. The quotes used in my short poem are from the story.

I absolutely adore of Mice and Men, and as I wanted to write something with the two main characters in it, I wrote a short prequel - as I couldn't really write a sequel, if you know what I mean. I use Lennie and George in this story, as well as my own rendition of Aunt Clara. - George visits Miss Clara's house to apologise for an incident with Lennie, who he'd only met once before. He finds out who Lennie is and what his Aunt's true feelings are. -

During the Great Depression, two migrant workers-George Milton and Lennie Small-dream of one day owning their own land and living off the "fat of the land." But Lennie's gentle fixations on soft things often lead to trouble, and after losing yet another job, the pair move on in search of a fresh start. They arrive at Tyler Ranch, just outside the town of Soledad, where they meet Clara Tyler-the hardworking, compassionate woman who runs the property with quiet strength. As Clara welcomes them into her world, she offers more than shelter: she gives them purpose, dignity, and the chance to build something lasting. With patience, gentle guidance, and shared routines, George and Lennie begin to rewrite their story-not with tragedy, but with tenderness. This reimagining of Steinbeck's classic and 1992 adaptation directed by Gary Sinise, offers a hopeful alternative, where found family, emotional healing, and quiet rebellion transform a fragile dream into a living legacy.

An inspired novel opening based on John Steinbeck's "East Of Eden" The scene is based in Nothern Scotland, in Drumnadrochit. The story is narrated just as how "East Of Eden" was, that being Steinbeck describing his own childhood experiences when he was growing up in California. The ending of the first chapter in "East Of Eden" foreshadows events later on in the novel, as does my novel opening. This story is a work in progress!
