I've been so in love with Of Mice And Men recently. This is my first OMAM fic, and it's pretty much the same other than the fact that I'm rewriting the ending to give them their dream!! The cover image can be found on any browser or on Pinterest, it's from the OMAM movie! It is NOT my image, obviously.

So basically in English we read Of Mice and Men and then we had to write a narrative about what happened after the ending!! so ya idk this is from the beginning of the year (first submitted on 11/21/22, revised on 1/26/22) if there are any errors, tell me, i may or may not fix it! i also haven't read this like since i submitted it 💀 i will probably read it after i publish this but yea It was originally named "Death of a Friend" on the essay, but for this i changed it to "The Aftermath" THIS IS MY OWN INTERPRETATION! I DO NOT OWN MICE OF MEN!! ALL RIGHTS GO TO JOHN STEINBECK!!!!

I wrote the next chapter of Of Mice and Men for English class and decided I would upload it on here. The story was written trying to best match the style of Steinbeck's work so it uses the dialect in dialogue. I realize that the dialect contains grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors, so there is no need to point those out. Otherwise constructive criticism is welcome. -Disclaimer- The novella Of Mice and Men was written by John Steinbeck. I had to read Of Mice and Men for school and stuff and tbh Lennie and George should've dated. So if you haven't read OMM (Of Mice and Men) this probably won't make much sense. If you are or are planning to but haven't finished yet, the ending will be spoiled in this story so don't say I didn't warn you. ! I do not own any of the characters/main plot.
