I wrote the next chapter of Of Mice and Men for English class and decided I would upload it on here. The story was written trying to best match the style of Steinbeck's work so it uses the dialect in dialogue. I realize that the dialect contains grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors, so there is no need to point those out. Otherwise constructive criticism is welcome. -Disclaimer- The novella Of Mice and Men was written by John Steinbeck. An inspired novel opening based on John Steinbeck's "East Of Eden" The scene is based in Nothern Scotland, in Drumnadrochit. The story is narrated just as how "East Of Eden" was, that being Steinbeck describing his own childhood experiences when he was growing up in California. I had to read Of Mice and Men for school and stuff and tbh Lennie and George should've dated. So if you haven't read OMM (Of Mice and Men) this probably won't make much sense. If you are or are planning to but haven't finished yet, the ending will be spoiled in this story so don't say I didn't warn you. ! I do not own any of the characters/main plot.
