Eva-Jade Jackson and Virgil Tracy originally met in their freshman year of high school. It wasn't until their senior year that they started dating. Following their hearts they both moved onto university together, Virgil studying mechanical engineering and music, while Eva pursued medicine and computer engineering. After graduation they spent eighteen months apart before Eva gets an offer that she can't refuse.

"I know this isn't what you want, Kayo," her mother said gently, hands folded as if bracing for impact. "But this is an opportunity for all of us. Including you. You'll find new friends, Kayo. New places to grow." Her voice trembled slightly, but she kept her gaze firm. The familiar walls of her bedroom - cluttered, imperfect, hers: already looked like a memory. "But I liked who I was here," she murmured, almost to herself. Kayo Kyrano had lived her life normally in her hometown. Normally, that is, until her parents dropped the unfortunate news that they would be moving away. To her surprise, however, a message from an old friend said something along the lines of "rebuilding the team" and "crashing into the moon". Kayo has great potential.
