In a universe that oscillated between deafening noise and soul-crushing boredom, Alexei was a constant, high-definition frequency. He wasn't loud in the annoying way; he was loud in the tectonic plates shifting way. He wasn't boring; he was a walking, talking explosion of personality and confidence with a side of questionable life choices. And as Emmeline stood there, vibrating with the anxiety of a startled cat, she realised the most confusing thing of all: amidst the static of her life, the former super-soldier felt like the only calm thing in the room.

This eventually got him involved in illegal cage fights where he excelled. After a few years of taking beatings and dealing out worse Richard found himself in the path of the remaining Avengers, mainly Black Widow who saw something in the young man who hadn't know what to do with himself other then fight. With the help of Captain America she trained him to be a force for good and sent him back out into the world as Timber Wolf to try to dismantle the organization he spent so long in. But after the Avengers' second fight with Thanos and the return of half the universe Richard was lost and alone again with the loss of his 2 mentors. Now on his own again Richard struggles to find his place in the rapidly changing world while trying to stay true to what Nat and Steve taught him.
