After just coming home from war in Afghanistan, John Hamish Watson finds himself sharing a flat with a consulting detective referred to as Sherlock Holmes. After developing feelings for the detective, he finds himself asking one question: Is it possible for a sociopath to fall in love? ♡ ♡ (Cover art is not mine)

So it's my first Johnlock story. I did my best to do it the way I wanted it and it's historical. It takes place in Victorian London, but what will I tell you. If you want to know you'll have to read it lol. /Sorry in advance for any mistakes as English is not my first language./ Enjoy! <3

Sherlock was dead. And he wasn't coming back, no matter how many times John had begged his gravestone, no matter how many times he pleaded a higher being, and no matter how many tears he shed. The ghost of the svelte detective still lingered, and sometimes that helped, but sometimes... sometimes it drove John insane. Warning - There may be graphic depictions of many things.

As he learns more about the mysterious, surprisingly clever woman, things escalate, and lives are suddenly in danger. Sherlock asks Watson for help in solving the case, which is becoming increasingly complex. In the process, he discovers more and more similarities and parallels between the woman and himself, until he comes to an unusual question: Which feelings are real, who can he trust, and why does the mysterious woman suddenly pique his interest?

Sherlock vowed never to fall in love again after an unsuccessful attempt at university. However, Dr John Watson wants to change this... To cope with his feelings, he spends a day at a gun range, where he meets someone who gives him an offer that could change his life forever. Meanwhile, Sherlock works missions for Mycroft, eager for the day he will be able to come back home to John, which turns out to be sooner than expected.
