I'm quite late to the party, but I finally read this book and handled the ending about as well as most other readers. For my own peace of mind, here is the ending I would have written.

Anna, a 25-year-old, free-spirited girl encounters a drastic tragedy because of her boyfriend. After two years of that incident, she starts recovering from her miseries. But, her fate has other plans for her. She meets a guy and whom she considers being sweet and honest. As she starts falling for him, things begin to change around her. Will she be able to find true love in her life? Is the guy she is falling for actually loves her the same way or has any other plans? Will her past let her stay happy ever after?

My version of what would have happened had Will received a Hollywood ending.

Will Traynor never got hit and is still with the same girl. And Louisa Clark still works at the bakery she's been working at for 6 years now. I only saw the movie I will read the book. So I might base it more on the movie. Little spoilers. Not original idea copied from me before you. Un edited.

This is an alternate ending to Me Before You because Will choosing to die absolutely BROKE MY HEART. I wanted to write a story about their life if he chose to live. Obviously these characters and the original story do not belong to me, but the wonderful JoJo Moyes, and I am just writing a continuation of the story she created.
