Knowing that someone already had his heart, he hid his feelings for Steve, and was just satisfied with admiring him from afar. However, when a series of events led all of them together, his feelings for Steve grew from infatuation to love. And despite fighting hard to keep the feelings contained by distancing himself from Steve and focusing on their band and his relationship with their leader- Jean Elijah Navarro- He couldn't . "I can't teach my heart to love someone I didn't have feelings for". So, he was determined to show that he's earned a spot in Steve's life too.
