The Joker and Harley are now parents of a lovely pair of twins, a boy and a girl. Those are his children. HIS. And nobody can touch them, nobody can even get close to them. He has made sure of that, look that he has got a lot of enemies. He will not let anyone take them from him, he adores them, sees them as a piece of himself, they are his own flesh and blood, the only great and good thing he has done in his life. But what happens when not only you let down the people you love the most, but also fail to protect them? If losing someone you adore drives a normal person insane, what does it do to an already insane person?

Harley Quinn is the Clown Princess of Gotham, crazy, gorgeous and intelligent. She takes what she wants and who she wants when she wants. If you feel like arguing with her you'll probably end up with a bullet in your cerebrum, and that's if you're lucky. Jack Napier is a shrink at the Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. He deals with all sorts of patients, from mentally deranged serial killers to snivelling piles of flesh that are so far gone they probably don't have the brain capacity to commit a crime anymore. What happens when Jack is sent to sort out the problem of this red-and-black bad girl? Will he be the one to fix her and bring back her old self, or will he just be another Doctor that can't figure out how to save her? Typical Harley Quinn and Joker story, but in this version of the story Harley and Joker switch places, for lack of a better phrase. There's no better way to explain it. (This is entirely experimental and I have no idea how this is going to go. I apologise in advance for if I fail. I personally hate reading fanfic where the author quits without finishing the story, so I promise that will be my very last resort.) Edit: yeah, ok, I had to stop 🙄 parenting is time consuming and also I have like no creative energy anymore, I mostly just like editing other people's stories now.
