Natalie Parkinson is a young girl, she's not very energetic for her age. She's the quiet type, shy, pretty small in life, sarcastic, and humorous. Most people find her humor dark though, shes pretty lonely you could say. She lives in the lower parts of Gotham where Poverty is natural and all around. Living in a shitty apartment, with a bunch of low life's. She fits in enough. Kicked out by her boyfriend, without any work experience, she's living her worst life. But one day, when the elevator gets stuck once and for all, she meets Arthur Fleck. Her neighbor who she often hears laughing, they finally meet. And as time goes on, he has his ups and downs. She thinks he's crazy, at first at least. But nonetheless she finds him intriguing, and as she learns more and more about him, she gets a warm feeling in her. It scares her, but she cannot help it. It looks like Arthur has the same feeling, but his is much stronger. And as time goes on and they know each other, it reveals Arthur truly is crazy. But she somehow doesn't mind. . . A/N: So this is an X reader obviously, and it follows the movie. Now I will do my best to follow the movie, if I get some stuff wrong please don't bring it up, and if you don't like something, just keep it to yourself. Don't be petty. This is a joker x OC book but if you want, you can change the name to whatever you want in your head, I do that sometimes. This book is also based around the new Joker from the upcoming movie "Suicide Squad", until it comes out, all plot will be based on the trailers (that I've watched way too many times), old comics, tv shows, movies, video games (pretty much any info I know concerning the joker or suicide squad), and my own imagination. The name of this book is also based on the late heath ledgers line as the joker, if you don't know it, he says "Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push." and yes i know the book is called "pushed to insanity" and not "pushed to madnes" but i just like the word 'insanity' better *shrugs* anyways, I hope you like the book, and I'll write an A/N when I see the movie and the book starts forming into the plot of the film.
