Matilda, or Mattie as she is known to pretty much everyone, is the daughter of Millie and Murray Markowitz, two Holocaust survivors turned Nazi Hunters. She is the youngest of three siblings, her oldest brother having been killed in a concentration camp. She was a bit of a surprise to her parents. However, as she reaches 18, they realize they can't keep her from their second life any longer. Besides, she speaks four languages fluently and can converse decently in several others.
