There are ambiguous "powers and magical forces" people have spoken about more so than in our world but other than that, it's basically our world but the hypothetical and comedic future. New London is a neglected city off the coast of Canada (Canada is known as North Montana now after the US took it). It's huge and very cyberpunk in style... but it's hard to describe so find our Pinterest board about the story by following the external link in the story parts... Very Gotham City like. It was where many people from the UK migrated to after the third world war but the city's politics and system are awful and the crime rate is super high
