This is a fanfic based on the animated short film "In a heartbeat" that was created by Beth David and Esteban Bravo. The short film was super cute so I suggest ya all defently watch it!!

After chatting on Instagram DM's about how appearently Jonathan can't skateboard, this fanfic happened

This story is inspired by a commenter on Tiktok. You will find out who they are in the first image in the first chapter. They are gonna be words and sentences from different languages, which I translate because I don't know other languages besides English and a tiny but of French. I'm so sorry if the words aren't accurate. Sherwin and Jonathan are our main protagonists in this book, obviously. How would they fall in love? Well, you gotta read the book to find out. TW: Abuse, ED, Transphobia, Homophobia, and Bulling. (I would add more trigger warnings if a chapter has something worth warning about.)

Sherwin is an artist. An underappreciated one at that. At his school, no one ever seems to notice him. He has been completely under the radar by all except one. Little does Sherwin realize that the one person who has ever noticed him was his long time crush Jonathan, the captain of the school baseball team.
