Of course, he loved his friends and was so grateful to have them; they were his family after all, but he didn't know how it felt to be truly loved by someone. Y/n is not the kind of person who easily makes friends, she would rather keep the few friends she has close and be there for them whenever they need her. That's what she does: she's there for everyone- at anytime. What happens when she realizes that she's in love with the person she's known for the longest time. Dakota Berry is the new girl to Outer Banks of North Carolina. The 16-year-old is also new to the whole Pogues versus Kooks world. When she arrives, because of her rich status she is immediately placed as a Kook, catching the eye of Mr. Kook king himself, Topper. However, Dakota has her eyes set on a different set of people. The Pogues, or how they are described in other stories-the outsiders. JJ, Kiara, and Pope; a group of friends with strong minds. Dakota is immediately drawn to their living free lifestyle and what they stand for. Little do they know; Dakota already knows about them. Now Dakota must figure out how to gain trust from the three Pogues as she has important information about two of their friends-since she is from Nassau, Bahamas. Let's hope she doesn't fall for one of the Pogues while doing so.
