"Where did you get that?" Martin stares at it with wide eyes, setting the tea down quite unsteadily. "Uhm." Jon looks at him, puzzled. "I don't think I...got it anywhere", he says. "It was here, in my office. I assumed you or- well, someone brought it in for me to record. Why?" Martin swears under his breath. "That's not-" Martin adjusts his glasses with a flustered motion. "That wasn't supposed to- You weren't supposed to have that." "What do you mean?" He takes the tea Martin set down on his desk, taking a sip. It's perfect. Just the way he likes it. Of course it is. It always is when Martin makes it- though Jon can't remember ever actually having told Martin how he takes his tea. He waits for Martin to answer, but he just stands there with his eyes flitting around the room, lips pressed tight as his hands worry at the seam of his cardigan. "Martin?" Jon sets the cup down. "It's a Statement. I'm the Archivist. What do you mean I'm not supposed to have it?" ~oOo~ Or, the one where Jon finds a Statement in his office, and it makes some long-held feelings surface, and some long-overdue conversations finally take place.

Martin hears the familiar sound of laughter echoing around the archives & immediately knows who the culprit is. It's about time he got some revenge on Tim

MAG 160 except the world doesn't end.

"But it was more than Loneliness, wasn't it, Martin? It was terror, too. Don't you remember how that terror felt? Feel it again. Feed on it." Or, Peter Lukas imposes the Lonely onto Martin.

A crossover fic (The Magnus Archives, Wolf 359, and Welcome to Night Vale) that's really only posted here so I don't lose it. Takes place early S3 of TMA, after the finale of W359, and nowhere in particular in WtNV (I'm not that far into it, I just like Cecil lmao), so spoilers. Please feel free to talk to me about any of these podcasts (especially TMA, we can suffer together)! I'm writing this a bit out of order so updates aren't on a schedule. I don't think this needs to be rated mature but that might change as the story evolves (currently the worst thing here is swearing but there might be violence later on.

The Magnus Institute is a selective boarding school located in the rolling fields of Kent. For the most part, it's your regular boarding school, the biggest worry your latest essay or what might be served for lunch. Until a teacher goes missing. Ms Robinson, a women who has never taken a day off in her life, suddenly vanishes into the night. After a few weeks, it's all been brushed over, and the school's moved on. But one student can't let it go. For Jon Sims, there are too many loose ends. Why hadn't she told anyone where she was going? Why was her room left in shambles? He soon ropes his friends Tim, Sasha, and Martin into helping him investigate. It all comes to a head when Martin finds Ms. Robinson dead in the maintenance tunnels below the school. She was murdered. Join Jon and his friends and discover what is really going on at The Magnus Institute.

Jon and Martin are in a new world trying to live a new life but some things never change. Half blind half not. I'm writing this solely for my own entertainment and if you read it thanks. I have a very mixed up mind, and if you read something weird go with it. Or the chapter doesn't make sense, go with it. And if you want to criticize me for my writing abilities, Stuff it. You were Jon Simm's little sister, also known as the archive's sweetheart, also known as Elias Bouchard's girlfriend. Jon hated you and Elias being a couple and failed to hide that fact. His complaints about the two of you had no filter, ranging from a mild comment between the two of you during dinner to a full on yelling competition in the library of the archives where you both knew Elias could hear.

Spoilers for the end of season 4 of TMA After Jonah's failed attempt to cause the eyepocalipse Martin and Jon decide that it eould be for the best if they both foud a stable job. Mostly so Martin can afford to eat. Martin becomes a librarian and Jon becomes a teacher. What could possibly go wrong with a semi-omnipitent Archivist having to teach a bunch of teenagers..?

Tim brags to Martin that he knows their boss sooo well. So much in fact, that he can make him laugh with a single look.

Michael loves tormenting people. Recently though, he's set his sights on a certain archivist. Once again trapping him with one of his doors, he toys with his prey until he discovers a new and rather fun way to fuck with him. Jonathan Sims is just trying to hold on to the last shreds of his sanity.
