This is a rewrite of the original Jormungandr's story , little more Mythologically accurate and no random bullshit. So let's begin... Loki the God of Tricks and Lies bore four children. Odin Lord of the Aesir was afraid...afraid of the Prophecy of Ragnarok and the Children's part to play in them. The first three born were taken, imprisoned and killed. The Fourth was born years later as a gift to the Alfather from Loki. Now centuries have passed, the Gods have died and gone to Valhalla...Ragnarok was thought to have been stopped with the death of Jormungandr. He was not dead...

A world where homosapiens/humans are placed as the inferior, used for breach battles by all sorts of demonic creatures. Would you want to stick with them until the end?

Norse mythology inspired me to write this kind of a poem, desrcibing titled Ragnarök, i.e. The end of the world. It is told from the perspective of a warrior, during a feast at Valhalla's hall, when suddenly the horns are blown for the fight.

Every mythology across the world has their own version of how an apocalyptic event will begin that would be the end of all creation. One of the most well-known events is Ragnarok, the prophesied doom that will occur in the Norse pantheon, and the monster that is destined to bring this dreadful event is Jormungandr, the World Serpent. The beast's appearance will be the end of days for both mortals and the divine. Alas, though, Jormungandr's attempt to bring the end of everything will result in him being imprisoned in the depths of the ocean. Many centuries later, the mythological gods have mysteriously vanished, thus leading to a new age where people wield special powers called Quirks. Somehow, the World Serpent will be able to escape his long prison and arrive in Musutafu, the city with the most Quirk heroes. With a new form to fit within the city, Jormungandr is given two choices: become the destroyer he was destined to be or find a way to redeem himself and become better. What path will he take? This is a crossover story between Hi-Rez's MOBA game, SMITE, and Kohei Horikoshi's manga and anime series, My Hero Academia. The story focuses on the genres of fantasy, drama, action, and mythological fiction. This is also somewhat of a gijinka story and NOT a harem story! A/N: I only own the plot. I do not own SMITE, MHA (My Hero Academia), or anything else in this story.

Because the gods are looking for them, and they'll stop at nothing to lock those horrid, horrid things away. So, after doing some thinking, I've decided to take down "Those Horrid, Horrid Things" from Wattpad at the start of 2023, save for possibly one or two updated chapters. It wasn't an easy decision to make, especially with all the lovely comments I've received from readers, but it seems to be the most appropriate move as I further edit the story and make plans to possibly publish it in some way.
