Katherine's father was a multimillionaire, his inventions bringing wealth to the once poor Pulitzer family. Not only was the family rich beyond imagination, the eldest daughter of Joseph Pulitzer was stunningly beautiful. After a good-night-gone-wrong, Katherine and her sister find themselves in a tricky situation with only a stranger, his gang of boys and runaways and his masters castle... Jack Kelly wasn't sure what to do. Or how he even got here. After a traumatic few days together, Jack begins to treasure the time he spent with his new friends, though the past seems to be falling away beneath their feet.
