Prince Joseph Joestar is next in line to the throne, after his parents died in a tragic car accident. On the 4th December, a masquerade ball will be hosted for Joseph to choose his new wife, and it is his best friend Caesar's job to help him prepare. Meanwhile, Queen Erina and Duke Robert Speedwagon have a troublesome matter on their hands.

He has a strange obsession with the "Surface-world" that no one could stop. As if he was connected to it somehow. One of his guilty pleasures is going up to shore to observe the surface with his prying eyes, feeling the cool wind on his scales. He never had much of a reason to go to the surface world other than exploring and collecting trinkets, avoiding humans as much as he could. Although, one day, as he was exploring the nearby beach, he laid his eyes upon a certain blonde human who would catch his interest for the years to come. - - - JJBA belongs to Hirohiko Araki.
