"I'm Not Your Imagination."
Tyler Joseph has spent years fighting to trust his own mind again. With medication, routine, and distance from his parents' constant doubt, he finally feels stable - grounded - real. Moving into his own apartment is supposed to be a fresh start.
Then he meets Josh.
Josh Dun: warm smile, restless energy, the kind of boy who feels like sunlight in human form. He shows up in Tyler's apartment like he belongs there. He listens to Tyler's music, laughs at his jokes, and sits on Clancy's old bass amp like it's his throne.
There's only one problem.
No one else can see him.
Tyler's parents insist Josh is a hallucination - a sign he's slipping back into the darkness he worked so hard to escape. And when Tyler starts doubting himself, he begins to pull away from the only person who's made him feel understood in years.
But Josh isn't imaginary.
And he isn't alive either.
He died in the apartment long before Tyler moved in... and he's been stuck there ever since. Tyler is the first person who's been able to see him, talk to him, care about him.
Josh doesn't want to disappear again.
Tyler doesn't want to lose the one person who makes him feel seen.
But loving someone who isn't technically real comes with consequences neither of them are ready for.
