Samantala, si Jerome Delos Santos- isang mayaman, at pinagpala na magmamana ng isang kumpanya ng kanilang pamilya ngunit bumaliktad ang lahat, kaya siya naging mahirap. Alamin, kung paano magtatagpo ang kanilang mundo at paano nila matututunan mahalin ang isa't isa, kung ang isa sa kanila ay hindi pa tapos magmahal sa nakaraan. At kung ang isa sa kanila ay isa sa pinakamamahal sa nakaraan.

Kaya, a girl with the nickname ' bitter ampalaya ' which means bitter gourd, a bitter vegtable. But Kaya is bitter in love. Isang gabi, hindi ako makatulog. Hindi dahil sa hiniwalayan ako o dahil sa namatayan ako kaya bothered yung utak ko, pero dahil may sanggol na iyak nang iyak sa kabilang kwarto nitong dorm na ito. Tapos yung inay niya walang ginawa kundi sabihing, "Tahan na 'nak pls tahan na." Binuksan ko ang pinto at nakita ko ang mag-ina. Wait... Siya yung nagiging kaklase ko noon sa isang subject ah. At siya rin yung napabalitaang nabuntis na 19 year old student sa Campus namin. Siya yung tinaguriang Helga Higad. Napakaraming sabi-sabi ang nasagap ko sa Campus namin. Pero habang nakikilala ko siya, unti-unting nag-iba ang pananaw ko sa mundo, sa mga katulad niya, at sa nakakabweset sanang iyak ng anak nya gabi-gabi sa kabilang kwarto.
