After finally defeating DIO, Joseph and Jotaro have to fly back from Egypt to Japan, where Joseph says he'll just move there for Holly and Jotaro, after everything that happened, which Suzie Q agreed on. Polnareff said he'll go back to France for now, but visit them soon after he sees his family. It was a connector flight, so they had to stop in between. The second flight to Japan was delayed due to some crazy weather, and they were stuck in Pakistan for about 2 weeks. Joseph and Jotaro finally make it to Japan, they take a Taxi to their house and the two men could not believe their eyes. Jotaro was startled by what he saw. Because waiting at the entrance... was no other than Noriaki Kakyoin.

This is a modern day AU, told from Jotaro's point of veiw, and a few years later when they can legally drink. After coming to the conclusion that he liked his closest friend, Kakyoin, after failing miserably on his own to ask him out, Jotaro trys asking his grandfather's friends for advice to solve this problem. After receiving advice from Avdol and Polnareff is when the real problem for Jotaro starts.

Kakyoin couldn't deny how badly he wanted to call today a date. A visit to the aquarium and the beach with Jotaro? That had to be a date. He was simply too afraid to let himself believe that. It was too good to be true. Here's a short lil JotaKak fic that I've had sitting around since some point last year and just finished and refined recently hehe :) I thought this turned out pretty cute and I hope you guys like it!! It's nice to take a break from having to double check every little story detail with the original anime/manga like I have to do with Crashing Waves, so it's been fun to just write and let the words flow for a change.
