She surely isn't as innocent as she is perceived to be. This is her journal, as she tries to figure out life. The battle between love, money, sex and life. Where will it take her? She is just as average as anyone else who is reading on wattpad at 3am in the morning, promising to go through just that one chapter. We don't have to have a Hardin Scott or Mr.Darcy to be heard. Presenting the mind and life of a 22 year old, she isn't a "saint", "straight A" or one of those "beautiful but doesn't know it girl". She has been through shit and sometimes been one.
