Many people have heard of the story, Journey to The West, with the story centered on the pilgrims and the great Tang monk. But what of the characters outside of their story? People who have faced their own suffering and earned happy endings in glory and power. The Camel Ridge brothers were known in the story as the three malicious demons who planned to devour the Tang monk and gain immortality or perhaps gain higher power from the holy flesh. The Azure lion, Yellow tusk elephant, and Golden-winged eagle. Three are sworn brothers with similar goals and motives, though both Azure lion and Yellow tusk only aimed to eat the Tang monk, while the Golden-winged eagle wished to grant the monk as a gift to the peacock princess and pursue marriage. But what if there's more to the story than what is given? What if the brothers' have a greater goal in mind? What if the peacock princess has more to her character? What if the relationship between the eagle and the peacock isn't all there is to the written book?

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. This was not what MK was expecting when he asked the Macaque to be his teacher. This apartment was made out of those Shipping containers. The space felt a lot bigger inside than it actually was. Macaque was dressed a lot more casual than Monkey King, in fact, Macaque's seemed to have a preference for baggy clothes. Macaque welcomed MK in with open arms, he was always seemingly nervous but also seemed like he saw MK as a friend despite both of them meeting an hour ago. He didn't know how to react when Macaque betrayed him. Now there are days when he feels like green eyes follow him in the shadows... What could Macaque want? Mk didn't realize the weight of his mistake, as this mysterious powerful being is now calling him "young master" and is fulfilled to grant him every wish he desires. The longer this mysterious being stayed by Mk's side, the more questions keep popping up. Why is every demon scared of her? why did monkey King keep her scroll and how did he get it? Why is the lady bone demon after her scroll so badly? If you've read my art book, you'll know that I am absolutely OBSESSED with a book called "Journey to the West". I've done SO MUCH art, and I just love talking about it in general. I used it for my Independent Novel Study in my senior English class, so I've got a whole tone of notes and summaries that I wrote for the project. To put it simply, this is just a place for me to go absolutely wild with obsessing over this book, without feeling the need to apologize for rambling on about it for 6,000 words. I'll include things like the AU I've been working on, an OC of mine, my analysis of certain passages, symbolism, and even some art regarding fanfics created by other writers here on Wattpad (I will read ANYTHING related to this story as long as it is written well and is appropriate).
