Y/n hadn't talked with Scrooge in a long time due to some unresolved issues between them but she never expected to bump into him and his family during a vacation with her twin brother, Sebastian L/n. It was an interesting and awkward reunion for the older pair but they persisted for the sake of their families, even if they began to ask too many questions. Both weren't sure how long they could avoid the matter but were willing to do what they could for each other. What will Y/n say to Scrooge after all this time? This is a reincarnation AU with a fem!reader. There's some angst in it but it's not going to get as heavy as it is in the first chapter again. Y/n has just moved into their new apartment and began their job at a noodle shop directly across from Pigsies. After becoming acquainted with the local Monkie Kid you're introduced the famous Monkey King who looks at you as though he's seen a ghost. This was commissioned by my friend who has full permission to yell at me if I try to procrastinate so there's a high chance that'll probably finish this. Peace has long since befallen China, trouble with the immortal demons and celestial demons has ceased since Rhe Demon Bull King was entrapped underneath a mountain by The Monkey King, and China has taken advantage of this, growing greatly ecomonically and technologically. The great Monkey King, Sun Wukong, hasn't been present for centuries, presumably taking refuge to rest with his subjects on flower fruit mountain, worn by his battle with The Demon Bull King. What if I were to say that in truth, he has been hiding among the commonfolk all this time? Dare I say even performing in the very circus Megapolis is renowned for...

After finding four men and a horse outside of your house you have to figure out how they got to this world and how to get them back to their world. It shouldn't be that difficult... It would if it wasn't for the fact that the men weren't the characters from a classic Chinese story Journey to the West. (This'll loosely follow JttW and some of the Monkey King media that's spawned from it so sorry in advance if I get things wrong. A cross post from AO3. Also the cover is from a drawing of mine.)

Fables of journey to the west is a multi-chapter fanfiction I'm currently working on, based on the original journey to the west novel. It of course follows the original story with a few of my own preferences mixed in and I'm willing to take a few of ideas which I'll add if I like. (Though the cover has been inspired by Lego Monkie Kid, the story will go in the original journey to the west flow.)

The beginning of what? The beginning of the Legend of the Monkie Kid!

UNNECESSARY NOTES BEFORE YOU READ THIS; -basically/sort of a rip off of journey to the west, one of China's four great ancient novels. SO you know it's good -This is a comedy+fantasy bts fanfic (not a romance). It's something you might read when you are in the mood for some stupid shenanigans and all (hope the readers like it...) - the main character is the incredibly impulsive powerhouse fairy YN (it doesn't mean the 'your name', its just dat naming mc's is a huge fuss and I'm just not in the mood for that) - the setting is very strongly fantasy, so the bts members are all magical creatures, and the mc is a fairy. - Also most of the members are some form of demons here, so do not get angry if they get beaten up and/or are evil. I sorta took out my anger over the stereotypical Y/N By making her supremely stupid. Please tolerate that. Thank u. Nowww on with the plot. THE ACTUAL PLOT: yn is the most powerful fairy in the land, who has already had an infamous 'rampage' through the undersky. Sun Wukong will not only be there to protect her but to be someone she grows close with. Through out her quest she will cross different terrains and either gain allies or enemies. . .
