Y/N Kamado. he watched. and watched and watched. he knew. he saw. he fought. but he never moved on. he visited and he talked. he smiled and he worked. he cried and he stayed awake. He was smooth, like water. He was sharp, like ice. but. He was warm, like the fire burning in his heart. He was tired, he just couldn't fight anymore.

The Traffic Light Trio were tricked into helping Monkey King clean out/organize his treasure room. stumbling across a weird artifact and accidentally activating it. The Trio got sent to the past. Recognizing they were in the Tang Dynasty at the time Monkey King was on his journey.

Well, um, I'm currently experiencing the reverse..." "That still doesn't-" "My guests are Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing and Bai Long Ma." After finding four men and a horse outside of your house you have to figure out how they got to this world and how to get them back to their world. It shouldn't be that difficult... It would if it wasn't for the fact that the men weren't the characters from a classic Chinese story Journey to the West. (This'll loosely follow JttW and some of the Monkey King media that's spawned from it so sorry in advance if I get things wrong. A cross post from AO3. Also the cover is from a drawing of mine.)

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. Based off the movie Monkey King- Hero Is Back, so if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, because it is a great movie, even though it's only loosely based off of the original story Journey to the West. Dialogue is based off the English Dub version of the film. Honestly, if you ever go to watch this film, I reccomend watching the original Mandarin Dub before the English Dub. :P None of the characters, excluding my self insert, belong to me. Fables of journey to the west is a multi-chapter fanfiction I'm currently working on, based on the original journey to the west novel. It of course follows the original story with a few of my own preferences mixed in and I'm willing to take a few of ideas which I'll add if I like. (Though the cover has been inspired by Lego Monkie Kid, the story will go in the original journey to the west flow.)

Sun Wukong, the notorious Monkey King known through every corner of China. Some people cheer for the all mighty Sage, but most entities shiver just by the mere mention of his name. He's known for his speed, travelling 108,000 li in a single cloud somersault, his strength, able to carry two heaven mountains on his shoulders, his golden eyes where no demon can deceive him, his 72 transformations and so on... his legacy is endless, and everybody remembers it well. But, he the most fantastic trait he possesses is Immortality. A demon able to escape the grasp of reincarnation. However... something happened... and now, even the King shakes and quivers at the face of Yanluo Wang.
