Llywelyn's life is cheap, in homeland. With his grandfather dying, and his father and uncle preparing for war, as a second born son he's expendable to them both, useful only as a pawn and a life worth losing. To survive the coming civil war, his best chance is to flee to England, and from there the Holy Land, on a crusade* he can hope achieve glory as a knight, and return home with renown and an army. His only hope is to beg aid of the English Prince Richard and ask for a place on his coming crusade*. Prince Richard is the spare heir to the throne, with no real occupation beyond being wealthy, womanizing, and drinking. For years he's attempted to escape his elder brother, King Henry's clutches and go on crusade* but to no avail. Yet. But when an exiled Welsh prince arrives begging for a place in his army, what else is he supposed to do but challenge the boy to a tournament? This is an inspirational sports story. *no actual crusading occurs. Jokes aside, I'm not going to lie to you. While the events of the book center around the Baron's crusade historically speaking no actual 'crusading' occurs. it's more of an extended road trip, in which Prince Richard lies to people, invites himself to meetings he was never involved in, and couch surfs with relatives. It's really just white people, going places white people have no business, to argue with other white people. Trust me. Only White people were harmed in the making of the Baron's crusade. Trigger/Content warning: family issues discussed. Death of a parent/spouse presented and discussed. Some family related trauma. A character is said to be sexually lose (nothing is shown, brief innuendos). Some profanity. Again no crusading occurs. Racism is presented as well as some anti-semitism. A main character experiences racial prejudices. Psychological abuse/bullying. Seriously no crusading occurs.

Starting off in S2E2: The Once and Future Queen, my best friend and I will take you to Camelot where there is always something going on. Adelena is Prince Arthur’s sister, a young woman who was never formally announced as the daughter to King Uther Pendragon. She lived away from Camelot to hide her identity and to keep her secret hidden until ill circumstances forced her to travel to the famous city—a city where magic is outlawed. Meanwhile, Merlin serves Arthur, as usual, while Guinevere begins to have feelings for the snobby prince. The Lady Morgana is also suffering from nightmares; dreams that are prophetic. In this roleplay, new and old characters alike will have to face many challenges in order to keep Camelot from being destroyed—especially from within. This is a roleplay between MaraDeylia and I.

“A Prince, soon to become a King, does not Joust. They never have and they never will. Do you understand me Joseph? You are of noble birth and do not play silly games with a bunch of reckless men on ponies, jabbing each other with sticks.” I wrinkled my nose in disgust. I always spectated jousting with my mother but never had the opportunity to actually participate in this honorable sport. It is honorable in my eyes at least. My father, King Eleazar the Second, thinks the sport to be nonsense. My father turned to leave my heavily decorated room when I did something I would have never done if it weren’t for my passion for jousting, I back-talked the king.

From the pages of the Children of the May saga... Two Murders. Two Revengers. The Magical Sword that binds them together. Balin rots in the dungeons of Camelot, unjustly imprisoned for seeking the death of the woman who killed his twin brother. Columbine wants King Arthur’s permission to slay the knight who murdered her beautiful cousin. She carries an enchanted sword, which can only be drawn by the man who will join her quest for revenge. When Balin and Columbine collide, castles will come tumbling down... Balin and Columbine is a novella set between Children and Ides of the May, the first two novels in S. J. Moore’s Children of the May saga. Inventively adapted from tales in Thomas Malory’s Le Morte d’Arthur and other medieval sources, the Children of the May stories are full of action, adventure, magic, humour and romance - a version of the Arthurian legends for today.
