A fanfic of Tauriel's childhood, how she grew up, the mystery behind her parents, her relationship with Legolas, and a more detailed background for the character than was ever written by Peter Jackson. Tauriel is training to become Captain of the Guard, her one opportunity to be anything more than the daughter of a murderer. Because at the moment, that's all that she is. Her father, Tarion, murdered 16 elves before he was caught attempting to assassinate the King, and beheaded. One of his victims was his own wife, Tauriel's mother, leaving her an orphan, viewed by most as a murderer, despite the fact that she has never killed anyone. DISCLAIMER: Tauriel, Legolas, Thranduil, Elrond, and any others mentioned in Lord of The Rings do not belong to me! They belong to JRR Tolkien and/or Peter Jackson. You did steal almost every last idea of mine. I DID NOT directly plagiarize you. I came up with the points, I had the idea to update periodically, and you even mimicked my first description of this. You copied MY idea for the facts for each day (or week). This makes you a hypocrite. And I can prove it. Look at the day I published this by scrolling over the bottom of the cover on this story. You may need to go to the first update for this. Now look at the first quiz(called "quiz time! XD) in "days to the desolation of smaug". The day I published this countdown is four or five days earlier. We both know that "days to the desolation of smaug" was originally only the first update, and that's it.

Okay I know what you are thinking yet another story where someone from our world gets sent into the Lord of the Rings world, and in this case you are right in thinking so. I however hope that my story will be slightly above the run of the mill another person in middle earth story. I have never written a Lord of the Rings story I usually stick to Pirates of the Caribbean. I have written some decend OC's for the world and thought I would try my hand at LOTR, I hope Gwyneth does not turn out to be Elizabeth. Please just give this chapter and maybe the next one a chance before deciding to bail on the story.
