Miranda has grown up on earth with her parents in their cabin home in the woods. Her mother works surrounded by nature and her father is a businessman. She had a very strict upbringing and has some unique skills for the 21st century. She has always enjoyed fantasy stories. Some of her favorites are the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. What happens when she finds out that the books are not just stories? Join Miranda as she discovers the truth behind her upbringing and her real identity. She will love and she will lose but she will always fight. This book is a fan-fiction work by me. This is book one of two (possibly three) that follow the works by J. R. R. Tolkien. I do not own the works by J. R. R. Tolkien nor do I claim ownership of his characters, places, or plot. This specific book follows the plot of "The Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien. Having sent his son to join the Fellowship of the Ring, Thranduil's limits are tested. His kingdom and lineage is threatened. Barely able to speak of his wife's death and now exposing his son to a similar fate, the agony emanates from his eyes to Elenya, a Silvan elf who has known the king since his return to Greenwood since the war of the Woodland Realm with the Kingdom of Angmar. Her radiating friendship, having grown into a dearest affection, alleviates his unrest, until again, the White gems of Lasgalen end up stolen. Elenya pleads her king to let her retrieve them. An act of friendship, as she states, only does she hope that the retrieval of the stones will finally open her king's eyes to her. The affection between them could bloom into much more, but his resistance to another is still too strong. Little does she know that the thief of the stones, a black-haired God who bears the name Loki, grows rather interested in her, and is more than willing to claim his price. In her absence, Thranduil at last admits what Elenya means to him, and departs to retrieve her. Will Elenya continue to fight for Thranduil, or fall prey to his enemy, the God of Mischief on Asgard? Thranduil and Loki - OC This is a crossover between Lord of the Rings and Marvel, and is inspired by both in the creation of this new story. Elanil was captured by orcs with her mother, Celebrían .She escaped after her mother and fled. She travelled around middle earth avoiding her friends and family in Rivendell. She was a mercenary before she was caught by the elves of Mirkwood.

Basil was flipping through the pages of her book. When she glanced up she noticed the light from her lamp created shadows that danced on the walls. She stopped and stared at them with a distant gaze. CRASH Basil quickly snapped out of being entranced by the flame in her lamp. She snapped her head to her green bedroom door. "Pops?" Basil called out. "Ahhhh!" Her grandfather cried out. Basil could hardly breathe in fear as she jumped to her feet to see what the commotion was about. She burst out her room and ran through the hallway to the living room. The window was smashed open, books, ink and shelves were scattered on the floor. Basil ran to the window while avoiding the glass. "POPS!" She cried out. She had her head out the window, her eyes stung and her heart was pounding. Pops was no where in sight and as far as Basil thought... This is a fanfic for The Hobbit. This is a story of the Dwarves and their wanderings as they searched for a new home after Smaug took their mountain. I've done a lot of research on this time period and events, therefore it is VERY accurate and parallel with Tolkien's writing! I put many hours of research into this, and I hope you like it!
