The probably will be a second book as I might put her through the fellowship On hold whilst I gain a story line and motivation

Aracella was raised among the elves in Rivendell as if she were one of their own, since she was a babe. When the safety of Middle Earth is threatened, Aracella joins the fellowship that will venture out to prevent the One Ring from falling into Sauron's grasp once again.

A very different view on Thorin Oakenshield himself. Everything and everyone was taken from him in the Battle of the Five Armies. This story takes place afterwards and is about how a lost, hurting king moves on with his life as the last possible dwarf or Durin on earth. We get to see how he copes by himself and finds a new life to live as a commoner instead of a royal as he was raised. Plus, I'm just really tired of seeing stories of new characters going on the quest with the company. The stories are always on the quest and stuff. Like, that stuff is getting old. So here's this story for you if you're like me. 😉

"I will stay safe. I promise," I said, pulling back and looking her in the eyes. They were red and puffy from crying, and her face was tearstained. I dried her tears, and her sobbing slowed to a stop. She took a shuddering breath and hugged me tightly. "You promise?" Míreth said quietly. "I promise," I whispered back. I held her tightly. "When I come back, we can live a happy, normal life together. I will come back. Alright?" I hoped the word together would hit a nerve. I did. Míreth pulled back, new tears of hope in her eyes. When they started spilling down her face, I dried them quickly with my shirtsleeve. ~*~*~*~ I do not own any of the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit characters. I only own Míreth and the characters I made up. ~*~*~*~ I changed the cover and title. I thought this would be a bit more related to the story. (SPOILER ALERT) Boromir has always been my favorite character in Lord of the Rings...and I don't really like the ending he gets in the movie. I decided to write a fanfic that kinda finishes up his story a little more. Nothing has been. changed about his death, but I did write my own event following his death.

It is the last few good years of Mirkwood, set in between the time of the Hobbit and the upcoming War of the Ring. Little do the denizens of the north realize that Sauron has set his sights on reclaiming the fortress of Dol Guldor. To that end he has sent 3 of the dreaded Nazgul to carry out his will. However new faces have been seen in the region of southern Mirkwood. Attending a grand meeting of Woodmen in 2947 an unexpected representative from Gondor has arrived, signaling the Steward's interest in the growing power of men within the region. Accompanying him is an exiled Rider of Rohan, a Mirkwood Elf Warden representing king Thranduil's interest, and a wayward elf hunter of the woods. They would soon meet a lone hobbit accompanying the wizard Mithrandir and become embroiled within the fate of the region. Is it possible to change the fate of the darkening of Mirkwood? Or will all fall to the inevitable shadow? (This is something of a fanfiction dramatization of an rpg game I run, of Cubicle7's the One Ring's "The Darkening of Mirkwood" adventure. Due to the rather epic 30 year scope, heavy Tolkien influence, and general unknown nature of what exactly happens to the Mirkwood between the Hobbit and the War of the Ring other than that it does not go well for the free peoples. I have decided to do some micro writing of my player's adventures within the region. These will be revised and written in short bursts to maintain my own interest and be kept for general notes on where a narrative might be going and such. Characterization will be lacking at first as I get a feel for my player's characters. At the very least it will help to improve my writing and storytelling skills.)
