Jubilation Stories

My first book of poetry, combining some that I wrote ages ago and some that I am writing now. If we know where we've been, we know where we're going. It's a journey through time.

"Sunflower Serenade" is a Christian romantic novel that unfolds the intertwined journey of Abigail Clark and David Bennett. Abigail, with her passion for floral artistry, initiates a summer workshop at Meadowbrook Community Church. David, a talented musician, joins her, offering live music during the sessions. Their shared love for art and faith sparks a blossoming friendship that grows into a profound love.

Ce texte est une sorte de chronique mystico-loufoque où la solennité d'une église se fracasse contre un univers totalement surréaliste. On y croise un chœur de batraciens ("les grenouilles") dirigé par un sacristain, tandis que la narratrice semble vivre une expérience sensorielle très particulière : une "main sans latin" qui provoque des frissons anatomiques ("remonte jusqu'aux reins"), le tout dans une ambiance de mariage ou de communion qui vire à la kermesse.

Destruction is slowly consuming Chat Noir after he Cataclysmed Monarch, feeling like he has no control over his power anymore. The sudden urges and flash backs from that night come back to haunt him at the worst possible times and Ladybug is worried that if he doesn't open up soon, he will lose himself to all the pain he's been carrying around up until this point. My version of the ending of Jubilation, but with more darkness and real life panic attacks. Also less Awkward conversations between LadyNoir.

Jubilation Retold (Basically Ladynoir dealing with the impact of their dream...and questioning how it might affect their reality.)
