When Charlotte "Riles" Riley has to return home to care for her ailing father, she's confronted with feelings and people from her past. WARNING: This is NOT one of those fics that basically repeat the dialogue of the original movie, but there are nods and mentions of events in the film. Saturday, March 24, 1990 Dear Mr. Vernon, On this day, six years ago when I was a junior in high school, I attended a Saturday detention along with four other students. Not a day goes by that I don't think about those 7 hours, even now, especially now. On the off chance that you do think about us every once in a while, I thought it best to keep you properly informed on our ever changing lives. So, in the following letters I will be doing just that.
