Jude told you her side of the story, now it's Cardan's turn. One shots from The Cruel Prince series told from Cardan's point of view, because I needed it. Spoilers, obviously, and angsty as hell most of the time.

This is post-canon, post The Queen of Nothing. It will mostly be fluffy married Jurdan because I love them so, so much. Jude has been kidnapped by Queen Orlagh. As a result, Cardan is forced to truly be king for the first time. Without his Seneschal he finds himself lost, angered -and even scared. Scared of losing her. *The title alludes to one of Cardan's letters to Jude in the third book. Enjoy!! Ps: While reading the story, you will probably notice that I'm not a native English speaker - so kindly overlook any grammatical errors!

She works as a barrista in the coffee shop at her local rink, and coaches girls to help encourage them to join her team when they're older. However, when national champion figure skater Cardan Greenbriar returns to their small town, he steals some of her girls to the dark side (they start being helped by him with figure skating). Jude is furious, and will do anything to get her team back- including skating with Cardan while he's looking for a new partner.
