People can be classified as many things. Talkative, nerdy, jock, goth, anything you could possibly imagine. As for Kallie Harlen, she hasn't spoken, ever. She may be depressed about some things, but she simply never felt a need, nor ever did she try to speak. Since she was young, everyone just assumed that she was too stupid to learn how to talk. Actually, her GPA was never below a 3.75, and she knew more than almost everyone in her school. Her parents had tried everything to force her into talking throughout her 17 years, to no avail. When a player from her calculus class takes an interest in her, everything changes. Will she ever find her voice?
