At the beginning of what would later be known as "The Golden Age of Hollywood," a sweet friendship begins to form between young stars Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, which later blossoms into a romance that must bravely battle the darker side of the entertainment industry.

Meet the Wizard? An Ozian book starring the Wizard and Dorothy plus a tornado that sweeps Dorothy away to another land called Oz and fights to the death in the Emerald City. Dorothy befriends a Wicked Witch and escapes the Red Brick Road. Dorothy eventually returns to Kansas. But she must sacrifice something in order to escape the land of Oz. this story talks about dororthy gale and her friends. it also describes the land of oz and the slippers. dorothy gale is played by actress judy garland from 1939. this was a movie made in 1939 by movie director victor fleming and company. the movie was first seen in black and white but then turned to technicolor on demand by victor fleming. that was a really big deal back in 1939 to have a motion picture shown in color. Gone with the wind was shown in color, too, in 1939, by the same movie director. This is a song by Sabrina Carpenter. One of my favorite singers ever. I don't know all the drama surrounding Sabrina Carpenter. But I've been a huge fan, occasionally, when I listen to music on my phone to change my state of mind with music playing in the background. I really like the music. You should try and listen to it sometime if you have the chance to listen to it. I think Sabrina's music is perfect for the book I've written about. At least some of her music is. There was some difficulties between Sabrina and another girl named Olivia. I think they dated the same guy and one of them was really mad.

*This is an AU of the 1944 movie Meet Me in St. Louis so I'll just briefly explain the changes.* • the movie takes place in 1903-1904 but for my story it will take place during WW1 because I wanted to reimagine this story as if it were a war romance between Esther and John. • Many minor things here will not be historically accurate but its sole purpose is just for my story, especially with the story being set in the years of WW1, but don't worry, I will give a disclaimer of them after every chapter. • Although this story will be an AU, I will include some moments from the movie to help carry my story. ~~~ Christmas time has arrived in St. Louis and the Smith Family are excited, especially Esther. For she is now already halfway through junior year, and next year, she'll finally be a senior. Then after that, university. When that day comes, she'll finally be an adult. However, throughout this journey to adulthood, she never expected she would fall in love. Especially with the boy next door. One afternoon, Esther spies a handsome new neighbor in St. Louis who goes by the name of John Truett, a native of Brooklyn who just moved to St. Louis, and to Esther's surprise, will be transferring to her school in the spring. As the feelings of these 2 people bloom from learning more about each other with each passing day, their relationship is tested with the interference of war, family traditions, and strict parents. Can love truly conquer all?
