Lucinda "Lucy" Wren Andrews is the older twin sister of Archie Andrews. Working all summer in Pop's Chock' lit Shop has taught her several things. The biggest one is how misunderstood those on the Southside really are. Working in the diner, she meets several new friends, most of them in different gangs yet all equally protective.

You move to a new town after your father accepts a promotion at his company. You soon find out that the small town is riddled with secrets, chaos, and intriguing characters. There is one boy in particular, Jughead Jones, you can't seem to get off your mind.

"Cynthia!" That voice caused my head to snap up and meet his desperate gaze. His eyes were pleading and terrified. Even through my tears I could read his expression from there. "Come to the shore and we'll figure this out together okay?" Veronica called again. I stood to join my sister, not taking my eyes off the dancing cracks beneath us until I stood right beside her. My hand found hers. "Thia! I can't lose you! I love you..." The boy in the beanie pleaded. We both sent the group a sad smile. Then rushing bone-chilling water enveloped us. I feel like I need to clarify. This is a Betty Cooper fanfiction, not a bughead fanfiction. Though bughead will be a part of the story, this story is about Betty and her trauma/experience, not bughead. The perfect girl next door was the blonde girl's agonizing past. Her life keeps dragging her into situations of excruciating life or dreaded death. Being the Serpent Queen alongside with her loving boyfriend Jughead Jones has been a challenge. The Serpents don't think Betty is worth the position of their queen.
