Let's pick up right where we left off with Julie being able to touch Luke, Alex, and Reggie, Carrie actually supporting her ex-best friend, Bobby figuring out Julie's Phantoms look exactly like his old band members from Sunset Curve, and Nick being possessed by Caleb. This is going to be one wild ride.

When a crying girl is running from her school, she encounters something that any girl would kill for a chance at. She runs into THE Luke Patterson. Will he brush her off as another fan or will a friendship spark? (The boys are not ghosts in this story)

Since her mom had died, however, Julie lost her passion for music and spiralled into a cycle of wishing she could play but couldn't. But, after three ghosts show up in her life, ready to throw her into a crazy whirlwind of gigs, writing songs, and drama, she regains her passion for music. There's just one tiny problem: in this world, if you see ghosts, it means your soulmate is a ghost. Nora Wilson used to be the keyboardist for sunset curve. Julie and the Phantoms took the Orpheum stage with storm, and they aren't stopping there. They're ready to keep making music together. Willie was happy to see they escaped Caleb's curse and he could still be with Alex, but the weird thing is Caleb's seem to have disappeared. But Willie can't complain since it means he can spend all the time he wants with his Hotdog. Luke couldn't care less about Caleb. The stamps didn't destroy them and they and can still play music! He has his friends, the band, somewhat made peace with his mom, what more could he want? He's never felt more alive. Alex is always busy, hanging out with Willie, trying new things and going on new adventures and feeling alive. Luke and Julie are full of inspiration and work constantly on writing new lyrics. Since it's summer, Julie has all the time in the world. Since everyone else is busy, Reggie talks to Ray most of the day, or chills at the beach by himself. He tries to keep himself available at all times just in case one of his friends might need him or want to hang out, even though it seems like it'll never happen. He's waiting to feel alive. But then one day he swears a boy from Julie's school looked straight at him, like he could see him. And his eyes...they were glowing purple. Or were they? Of course, when he tried to tell the band, they didn't quite believe him. Not that they thought he was lying, but that he misinterpreted what he saw. But what if he was right... Caleb is planning something. And he doesn't intend to let the Phantoms get away from him this time.

You'd think after playing the Orpheum, everything would get easier. The band is together, the boys are safe, and no one is competing for each other's affection. Right? Wrong. This takes place after the end of season 1. All characters, rights, and songs go to the amazing Kenny Ortega.
