Juleka finally gains the courage to tell her childhood best friend about her feelings for her. But after her nerves start to get the better of her, as well as her jealousy for the infamous Prince Ali, will Paris be the city of love? I stop laughing and stare at her, her response far from what I was expecting. She looks at me very concerned, I didn't think she would take it so seriously. "Hey come on, that would never happen anyway." I say to try and lighten the mood again. She puts the pillow down and turns to me grabbing my hands. "I'm serious Juleka, I don't know what I would do if I lost you." I felt like I couldn't say anything, Rose caught me completely off guard with her sudden change in attitude. The story starts with the tragic death of Marinette's father, Tom. Adrian who had a similar experience with his mother decides to become closer to Marinete so he can comfort her.
