Júlia Kudiess and Marina Godoy, two promising Brazilian volleyball players, have a rivalry that began in their youth categories. Júlia, a middle blocker for Minas Tênis Clube, and Marina, an outside hitter for Praia Clube, have played for their respective teams since they were 14 years old, and since then, they have cultivated a mutual antipathy on the court. At 21, both now shine on the senior teams of their respective clubs, but the hatred they feel for each other has only intensified. Each match between Minas and Praia is an explosion of competitiveness, with Júlia and Mari always making a point of demonstrating how much they hate each other and how much this rivalry fuels their game.
