well, seems I'm a woman of my word. a dragon, wandering after his heart is shattered, finds an orphaned princess and takes her as his own child. 4 months later, he finds himself hunted by dragon slayers out for his head. the problem? Jaskier, the viscount de lettenhove, Julian Alfred Pankratz, is that dragon. the princess? Cirilla or Cub as he affectionately calls his daughter, a half dragon half... witcher. Seems that the law of surprise takes ones mate into account. whether or not the bard wants it or the witcher knows it. what is offered to you is this, a dragon's eye view, a series of letters and journal entries penned by the viscount de lettenhove. a tale of death and destiny, heroics and heartbreak, love and lyrics to ballads yet unwritten.

Soulmates have forever been a lost thought to the world, as half of those who are alive have much better things to worry about. There are only a select few who care and have found the person bound to them. All in all, soulmates are a rare situation and commitment to consider. Julian Alfred Pankratz, on day one as a child, was taught that finding a soulmate as nobility did not matter. One was to marry another person of nobility to keep everything in order. Of course, Julian didn't listen to a word his father said, and instead ran off in his early adult years to find them. Unfortunately, however, when he stumbles upon the person he is to love forever, they dismiss the idea as well as Julian himself. But that doesn't mean Julian is to give up, no sir. The rejection only drives him more to change his fate into one with his soulmate.
