After the death of her aunt, Eden moves to Los Angeles to help her cousin Julie pick up the pieces. She expects grief, kinda awkward family dinners, mental breakdowns, and a city that doesn't quite feel like home. She doesn't expect three ghosts to appear in the garage. As Julie begins to find herself again, with the help of Sunset Curve, Eden is pulled into a world she never could have imagined- one filled with unfinished songs, enigmatic secrets, and a cheeky guitarist who has the peculiar ability to get under her skin. What if Julie has an older sister named Peyton who is a year older than her and is best friends with Carrie and is dating Nick? And what if when Rose (their mom died) Julie pushed Peyton aside and pretty much cut her out of her life the best she could? And because of this they ended up living completely different lives. Peyton is popular and in Dirty Candy with Carrie as a co lead, still dating Nick Adams, the captain of the lacrosse team and she puts a lot of time and effort into her music and other art related things. Now she, Carrie and Nick are seniors in high school and Carrie and Peyton are trying to break into the music industry while Nick is trying to lead the lacrosse team to another championship win. While Julie on the other hand is on the complete other end of the spectrum. Since her mom died she hasn't played any music and she only talks to Flynn, her dad and her little brother. Now Julie is a junior and her music teacher told her that if she doesn't sing or play some form of music in her next class then she will be kicked from the program until next semester. The two sisters are still at odds with each other a year later but now it's different. Peyton has made up her mind: she has decided that if Julie doesn't wanna have her in her life then she'll be out of it as much as she can. Sure Peyton had been doing this a bit but after so much rejection she decided to give up. Plus let's not forget Julie has some potential new friends in the form of a ghost band. Will they be able to help her reconnect with music and be able to fix her relationship with her sister? Or will it be too late to fix it and they'll just end up always divided? "I mean we aren't doing beauty and the beast anymore," said Miss Jenn sternly as she turned around and handed the new scripts to everyone. Everyone is seventeen and EJ is there because Miss Jenn asked him to and he can manage both his studies and theatre at once.

They understand really quickly that they can help each other in the process. As their friendship grows, the boys manage to convince her to start a band together: Ivy and the Phantoms. IVY MOLINA - LUKE PATTERSON - Ivy is basically Julie's character. I changed the name so it could be a little more personal. I honestly love the show so much but I wanted to see what would happen if Julie was not in high school anymore but a 20 year old girl. I basically wanted to see how it would be if the characters were around my age honestly ahah So the storyline might be changed a bit so it would fit their age. Hope you like it !! ♡
