Mirabel just wants to relax after the war. She served when she was 4 quickly proving to be the best of the best. After the war ended 10 years after her enrollment she retires and moves to Encanto. But with the Madrigals running around helping everyone it's hard for Mirabel to have some peace and quiet until Julieta wants to adopt the retired General.

Alma Madrigal started disliking the family because they keep to themselves, don't seem interested in the Madrigals, and she knows they have powers because Bruno saw them coming in a vision. She told all the Madrigals not to talk to them.
