after Marinette's parents left for a trip that was supposed to last three days their plane crashed and killing them in the crash. When Marinette got the news of her parents it was right after Adrien rejected her Infront of everyone. Chloe was the only other one that over herd the conversation about her parents. that is when she gave her the idea to pick two or three friends and go to New York with here and her mom. Chloe knew that it was going to be hard for Marinette and she knew that Luka liked Marinette, so she got her mom to invited Marinette, Luka, Julika, and rose to her place. will her and Luka get together or will find someone else.
