Juline Lakyn is a level six and a froster. She has the perfect family, the perfect friends, and is nearly guaranteed a position in the Elven nobility. But what will happen when she's paired with the talentless Kesler Dizznee for a Universe assignment?

When Juline and Kesler are killed by someone who's imitated the looks of Dex, what will the four siblings do when the oldest is a wanted criminals throughout the Lost Cities? In which Dex needs help and is trying his hardest to be a dad Bex is more of a parent than Dex is cause she got that motherly instinct Also she's awesome Rex is adorable Lex is smartttt And manifesting is a bitch (don't worry, cussing probably won't be in the story)

When a group of talented elves flee the Lost Cities after the pyrokinesis ban and move to 1950s Chicago, bringing their children with them, the Council attempt to find them but fail. However, 11 years later, a tragic school fire (and a suspiciously yellow one, at that) kills many, and the Council begin to investigate, believing the fires might be Everblaze. They coincidentally run into the children during the search and put two and two together and take the children back to the Lost Cities. It's the perfect "finding a place of belonging story... right? NOTE: I DID NOT INVENT KOTLC OR A FEW OF THESE CHARACTERS, BECAUSE THOSE WERE CREATED BY THE LOVELY SHANNON MESSENGER. NOT ME, OKAY?

Finally, the secret is out. Rex is talentless. Rex isn't sure what to do. He falls asleep with plans in the front of his mind, the only time he's alone Bex is done with everything. She was taking charge of this house, and no one could stop her. Lex was trying his best to be what his siblings needed. Lex was so sure he could help, he forgot that sometimes by trying to help, you can make things worse. Dex isn't sure how to talk to his siblings, and it's scaring him. they always had a special bond, and now even that was breaking Kesler was trying to piece everything together. What was going on out there? Juline was gone. She had been missing ever since the day she left Rimshire. What happens when they all become reckless?

Who knew ghosts were so weird? And dancey? And punny? And super, duper, expertly annoying? Let's hope Dex filing his nonexistent nails can cure Keefe of his moderate feelings of sadness. In which: -Dex Dizznee is a ghost, but he's taking it to a whole new level of annoying -Keefe Sencen is the only one who can see, feel, or hear Dex and it's driving him even more insane -Kesler is a great dad to Keefe but also has no idea Dex is giving him tips to get on his parent's good side. Let alone that his son is in the room. -Ro knows Keefe lost it a while ago, so really she isn't fazed. -Lovise, meanwhile, is fazed. -The Squad (TM) literally just thinks Keefe is crazy. Mad as a hatter, if you will. Off his rocker. Gone around the bend. Lost his marbles. Might be on drugs. --All they know is that he's whispering to the corner (for no visible reason). And glaring at the wall (for no visible reason). And looking very much like he wants to beat said wall senseless (for no visible reason). When the group of friends and family get together to read, they find that the book is about Sophie's life in the Lost Cities.
